Meet the Cast!!
I really like the idea of using tarot to play instead of digging deep into your psyche with shadow work or self-reflection, so I decided to create this reality tv Bachelor(ette) dating role playing game! I'll be playing as the host and narrating the drama unfold (and explaining how the game is played)!
THE BACHELORETTE
First, we meet our leading lady!! We pulled three cards and rolled the dice twice to introduce her! Think of this as the first intro of the bachelorette where we see her explaining who she is and what has motivated her to go on this show: to find love or maybe to find her husband?! To set the scene, we're pulling card to see our bachelorette's 🤩 core personality, 🕰️ past, and 🔎 what she's looking for in a partner. We rolled the d10 for a little bit of extra information; specifically, her charm and hotness.

Our bachelorette is internally very stuck, which is why she decided to go on Major Attraction! She wants to shake things up from her usual routine!! So I'd say her personality in one word is: stubborn.
🕰️ HER PAST = The Star
A good past!! And I've decided to interpret this as good past relationships as well (because why not?). She's had all good past relationships but none of them were the right fit: all amicable splits where both parties just agreed they fundamentally weren't compatible. I could also see this meaning she's done a lot of healing from these past relationships. 🤔 But again this feels generally positive! The only upright card in her intro spread, and a major!

Our bachelorette is looking for someone who is totally different from her! Someone who is wild who has a totally new personality to her!

Our bachelorette is quite average AND does not have the greatest personality, slightly unpleasant, mediocre charm.
So overall: Our bachelorette is not the most glamorous, perfect Bachelorette– a 5/10 who is desperate to shake up her stagnant life and looking for a little chaos! She has done lots of real healing and had a beautiful life. She's not broken, just STUCK. And she wants someone to really shake things up in her life!
THE BACHELORS
Alright! Now for the boys!! Imagine limo entrances! For the boys we pulled one card to represent this limo entrance, so I interpreted this card as their most "camera ready" selves lol. How would these guys want their intro scene to come off? How do they want themselves to come across on camera? How would these guys pitch themselves to the "audience" and our bachelorette? And then we rolled the dice for 🌶️ hotness and our bachelorette's 👋🏾 first impression of everyone!!

This contestant is a hard-worker. He is big and burly; definitely rugged and has some sort of hands on, blue-collar job.

👋🏾 FIRST IMPRESSION = 5
OH NO! He's BUTT UGLY!!! But hopefully his personality makes up for it. 😬 He made a decent, middle of the road impression. She doesn't know yet how she feels about him. Very neutral.

MATERIALISTIC!!

Oop he's ugly and materialistic…and it looks like our girl does NOT like that.

This bachelor is overall dissatisfied with his life…maybe similar to our bachelorette? They may have a similar reason for coming onto Major Attraction.

Alright!! Our hottest person so far! Very attractive, good-looking, and solidly above average, but not quite in the "drop-dead gorgeous." And our bachelorette REALLY likes him!! So with that 9/10 first impression maybe they DO relate with feeling stuck? (We should examine their cards together!!)
CONTESTANT #4 = Eelias

Emotionally drained! This bachelor RECENTLY went through a bad breakup.

Alright another middle of the road average person. And a neutral but (not overwhelmingly) leaning positive first impression on our bachelorette.
So overall: So we have an interesting mix! Contestant #3 is our CLEAR front runner. With Contestant #2 being clearly in last (for now at least).
I decided to name everyone using the animals on the tarot deck I'm using– the Tarot of the Woodland Wardens by Jessica Roux to be specific! In the future, if I don't pull from this deck, I'll use whatever imagery is on the card to name everyone. So here are our animals and names:
